Hey everyone, I've been having a really strange issue for the past two days and I'm wondering if it's just me or if others are experiencing this too. After my smart home hub (I'm using a [Brand Name] Hub) auto-updated, a bunch of my devices have been glitching. My living room lights turn on randomly at 3 AM, the thermostat keeps resetting to 72°F, and my smart lock occasionally shows as 'unresponsive' in the app even though it works fine manually.
I've tried the usual stuff: rebooting the hub, restarting my router, and re-pairing a couple of the problem devices. It helps for a few hours, then the weird behavior comes back. I checked the release notes for the update, but they were pretty vague about 'general stability improvements'.
Is this happening to anyone else? If so, have you found a fix or a workaround? Should I just factory reset the whole system and start over, or is there a way to roll back the hub's firmware? Thanks in advance for any advice!
Hey everyone, I've been having a really strange issue for the past two days and I'm wondering if it's just me or if others are seeing it too. After my smart home hub (I'm using Home Assistant) auto-updated, a bunch of my devices started glitching. My living room lights turn on randomly at 3 AM, the thermostat keeps resetting to 62°F, and my smart lock occasionally shows as 'unavailable' in the app even though it works fine with the physical keypad.
I've tried restarting the hub, re-pairing a couple of the problematic devices, and even resetting my router, but the issues keep coming back. My setup includes a mix of Zigbee and Wi-Fi devices from different brands. Has anyone else run into similar problems after the recent update? If so, have you found a fix or a workaround? I'm starting to think I might need to roll back to the previous version, but I'm not sure how to do that safely without breaking everything else.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Hey everyone, I've been having the strangest issues for the past two days. After my smart hub auto-updated, my lights are turning on randomly at night, the thermostat keeps resetting to 72°F, and my robot vacuum tried to mop the carpet. I've tried rebooting everything and reconnecting to the app, but it's still glitchy.
Is this happening to anyone else? I'm using the HomeHaven ecosystem with about 15 devices. Wondering if I should roll back the update or if there's a fix coming soon. Also, has anyone found a way to disable auto-updates on these things? I love the convenience but this is getting ridiculous!
Hey everyone, I've been having this weird issue for about two weeks now where my smart lights and thermostat keep dropping off my Wi-Fi network. They'll work fine for a few hours, then just go offline. I have to power cycle them to reconnect. My phone and laptop stay connected perfectly, so I don't think it's my router. I'm using a mix of brands (Philips Hue, Nest, and some generic plugs). Has anyone else experienced this recently? Maybe there's a firmware update causing issues or some new interference? I've tried separating my 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks already. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
